“Smart, provocative and occasionally moving, it’s also mercilessly funny.”

SPEECH AND DEBATE: WINNIPEG FRINGE 2011 (BEST OF FEST)

By Stephen Karam

Interpretive dance! Gay Abraham Lincoln! George Michael! Time travel! Sex! Secrets! And blackmail!

Speech and Debate  tells the story of three teenagers in Salem, Oregon. When one of them discovers the truth about a sex scandal in their town, secrets become currency, blogs are belted, and the trio’s connection grows deeper than they could have ever anticipated.
